But everyday should be, don't you think so? I'm determined to finish the hand quilting on the front of this little handbag, so I've been working on it a lot. It is never a matter of speed, it takes a long time to complete, and I think that people who love hand quilting need to be relaxed before to start. I do feel like that, and it seems to me that stitches run better.
I don't know how to quilt the back, maybe not the same stencil (I'd prefer a circular design, but I don't know if it matches well).
I hope tomorrow will be another very busy quilting day, for me and for you.
I'd really appreciate to know your thoughts and your feelings about your quilting time, and I ask you to share them with me, if you like.
Have a nice quilting day
Your bag is amazing. I adore your blog and find it very inspirational. I will try to find some quilting time for myself tonight!
ReplyDeleteHey! I just found you through Marisa's blog. Your appliquework for your bag is just beautiful - and the quilting too!! I agree quilting demands for things to be calm all around. Having two kids (3+5 yrs old) of my own, I know it's a challenge to find such times. I will read your log and add you to my google reader. Take care. Greetings from Una in Norway
